Background

Olivia Gambelin has spent over a decade working with Fortune 500 executive leadership teams to make AI decisions grounded in a deep understanding of human behavior and values — decisions that turn out to be, quite simply, good for business. Not despite the human side. Because of it.

With a formal education in both AI and the philosophy of ethics, she came into the industry with a lens most people don't have, one that allows her to see the technology and the human side with equal depth.

Past Accomplishments

That lens is what produced Ethical Intelligence, a global firm tackling responsible AI's hardest problems, and her first book Responsible AI: Implement an Ethical Approach in Your Organization with Kogan Page Publishing — winner of multiple awards and adopted as a playbook for building AI strategy internationally. She is the creator of The Values Canvas, co-founder of Women Shaping the Future of Responsible AI (WSFR.AI), founding Editorial Board member for Springer Nature's AI and Ethics Journal, and sits as an advisor for the Ethical AI Governance Group (EAIGG) and The Data Tank.

Olivia Now

While the responsible AI space moved toward governance and checklists, she kept going deeper — into the intersection of AI and the human condition. Her second book, exploring the relationship between AI and humanity, releases April 2027. Beyond the page, she advises executive leadership teams on where AI will actually make the biggest difference in their organization.

Olivia splits her year between San Francisco, where she is an active member of Silicon Valley's ecosystem of startups and investors, and Brussels, where she advises on AI policy and regulation.
